The Future Health Professionals at UCSC (“Health Slugs”) will encompass all aspects of the health professions including but not limited to medicine, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, public health, etc. We are all inclusive! We have a common focus yet tailor to the needs of each member. The Future Health Professionals at UCSC will undertake a variety of activities, including mentoring incoming health sciences freshman, inviting guest speakers, providing information seminars, coordinating volunteer services, etc. The possibilities are limitless! There is a great deal of interest in these activities and there is enormous possibility as to what we can accomplish. Let’s move forward with the work to be done!
